Fun in the Sun

Why don't photos on a backup show any of my edits?
The Picasa CD/DVD backup copies your original photos and your Picasa user data. Your Picasa user data includes your custom photo organizations, any edits you have made to photos, and your star rankings. When you run a Restore from a backup disk or disks and reinstall Picasa, all your edits and organizations should be displayed in Picasa.Picasa never changes your original photos. If you need or want edited versions of your photos, you need to export them. The Export process creates new duplicate JPG files that include all edits performed in Picasa.
